It's kind of a 'catch-22.' If a seller uses a high starting bid as a reserve, that also scares away bidders becuase nobody wants to be first bidder on a high priced item.

I know, and that is kind of annoying. It normally seems that I can relist and item 5 times, but as soon as it gets one bid, it may bid up $20.

I put in my final offer and if it dosent meet reserve then I don't want it. On occasion, when it dosent meet reserve, I've had the seller contact me and let me have it for my bid
