i keep all I find and then sell them when I hit 500. I continually upgrade my two sets and have two near complete sets of 1909-1940 and then two complete sets of 1940 - 1975.

I sell all the copper I get. I use the money from wheats to buy the rare ones I haven't found or buy silver. I sell the copper for money to buy silver.

I keep all wheats with less than 25 million mintage. I figure they will command the best prices in the future. The rest, along with all pre 82 coppers I sell for silver money.

I'd keep all 82 and older pennies as well as any BU zincs. The wheats and BU go in my coin box and the other coppers go into my big ammo box. Like most people have said it's up to you but wheats are probably my favorite coin because you can find them pretty easily in change and through CRH.

My LCS buys at 2.5 cents per. I'd say sell them to a shop, but also I'd suggest saving anything pre-1940.

I hardly ever find anything from before 1940.

Regarding the 82's... I just do a coin flip with those. You can hear the copper ring when you flip it. The zincs don't ring at all.

I have several rolls of wheat cents. What is the going rate for a roll of 1930`s all mints, no keys. Roll of 1929s and one of 1929d fine to vf+ and mixed rolls of 1920`s and 1910-1919 commons in avg circulated cond.

I would consider trades for Indians in better cond. for my set of IHC, if I am allowed to do trades yet. I guess ebay, but I have never sold anything before.

I have a couple of large glass jars that I keep all my coppers from CRH in, and a much, much smaller glass jar that holds the LWCs. They really don't take up that much room if you aren't going through hundreds of boxes, so I say keep all your LWCs.
