I'm a YN! I collect just about everything, except ancients. I'd be thrilled to have such an old piece of history in my collection!

I honestly started started collecting just a few years ago and just entered college. I'll PM you my address if it is okay with you, but I would enjoy to get an ancient coin (a gift would be nice, especially since my birthday is coming up in 11 days ) EDIT: PM sent

Great idea to get the younger members involved. I hate to see that the vast majority of US collectors have restricted their collecting interests to US coins and never expanded into the World and Ancient coins fields. I guess I have a bit too many Ancients to call myself a newbie anymore

Non-ancient/world collectors are missing out on a lot of interesting coinage and history. Many ancients are inexpensive (a large and varied ancients collection is possible even if you have a low budget) and a lot of what you will find is indeed authentic. And there are tons of free sources (including this forum) online that will help with collecting ancients.

Are their any still left? I am a YN (started at 6 and currently 13) I used to have a maximinus (may have mispelled) coin since it had my name in it but I lost it around 3 years ago. My oldest coin is a 1732 from imperial russia. Hoping to get intrested in something except USA, Canada, Ukraine, USSR or Imperial Russia (before 1909). Thanks for hosting the giveaway! :)

Hi Francium. You need to have your PM feature turned on to receive emails. Go to My Toolbox, then Manage your Profile.
