Develec, I have two questions:

1 do the uploads of the nickels have to follow consecutive years or can they be a mix of years?

2 I am new here and would like to know if Photobucket works to upload?

thanks for that

Devlec, it looks like your 1882 has a collar clash...

viper..Your "E" in DEI is definitely not like the others here.. good one....and glad that you got it in here!!

1... ..47P7... If you want to post earlier years of the "5 cent silvers" ..then please do.. That would be great..!!

..but if you have later than 1882 ..then why not wait until the correct year comes along..83 tomorrow ..84 after that etc.....If you're away for a bit, ...then post early or late..

2.. I think that there is a test area ..so try to upload a pic and see if it works..

It also took me a while to get the pics to look right.. ...98kb max resizing to ~800x800 works well for me..just a suggestion ...

Thanks for the input SPP,....but is that seen in the denticles in the right lower obverse? You know that I've only handled one 82,.. and it's the one showing..

I need a course on all aspects of coins,.. and their different strikes..including the collars...

Rob's 1858 Canadian Provincial Cents book arrived today,..and I'm going crazy over it,..it's that good... Coins.. and a wealth of history in it...

Wow ..!! Zonad...That is amazing...

Up to now..How many are known..?.. Love the remaining details in your legends..

Here are my 2 1883's...

The first one has the Rev. First 8 Blundered 8/3, Wide oval 8,..Blundered 3 as per the 2010 Charlton's p. 304..

The area around the "A" in GRATIA has deteriorated somewhat..

The 2nd 83 is also included for Zonad.. and all.. as another OF4..

My OF4..

viper..You have to add your 83 in....

.....and nice addition here Dredge..(the more the merrier)

We are showing different coins..and not judging them ,...because they're all good to see.. Take a long look at the super tough 83 that Zonad added..

Remember that the first 8 has a 3 under it and that's why you see knobs in both of the first 8's loops on the middle left side. An 8 over a 3...

..Yes..the 2nd 8 is showing a large 8 over a smaller 8,

.. and finally the 3 at the end is damaged/blundered..

.
