I've got to re-image many of my coins. The one I just posted is too dark. I can tell it's an old image by the slightly light areas at the top of each picture. They are the result of my lights reflecting off of the chrome vertical pole of my camera stand.
It's always something.

Here is my 1815 stand-in. It is obviously not US but it is about the same size as US Large Cent...and it has that yummy chocolate color that I so admire about early US copper...and has that classic silhouette look that so many early US coins have. So here it is:) Spain 1815, 8 Maravedis, Jubia Mint.

Wow TJ! For a nearly 200 yo coin, that is a stunner. The clarity of the strike is jaw dropping.
