This one used to be mine... I am thinking about trying to work out some sort of trade with the present owner, or I may look for a 18th Century Draped Bust Large Cent since I don't have any 17XX dated coinage. 1807/6 1C S-273 Large 7 over 6 PCGS F-12

Excellent coins everyone! Dragonscale, that is a great story about your 1804. She cleaned up very nicely. Was that a lock with it and was it from the same time period?

My 1807 Draped Bust Half. I'm out of the game for a while. See all of you in the 1850s. This is an enjoyable thread. Lots of interesting old coins so far.

1808 Large Cent, S-277, sometimes called the 12 star variety because star #1 is often very week or absent completely. The cause is reverse die sinking.
