No no, Silveroid's right -- the best thing you can say about their customer service is that they make nice coins.

Understand me correctly, it's different : I very like some of RCM's, mostly "not popular", coins and Whenever it comes to the service, when they not sell something (directly or indirectly) - it sucks. what exactly they sell today (from October release), that waiting time is more than 20 minutes?

Once I found out I could order more than the three I had on subscription, I decided to go ahead and order two extra. They will make nice annoying Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers for family and friends. Let them have some fun trying to figure out what to do with them for a change! I collect the series not only because of the price and designs/themes but also because of the legal tender guarantee. Too much NCLT/Giftware ends up being worth a fraction of the original over inflated issue price in a few years, so one has to be very selective. I have since managed to reduce my small stock to one of each of each except for a few issues, so they fit nice in their shipping boxes.

These are not legal tender though, as previously discussed. They do not have to be accepted by ANYONE for ANY debt or purchase, except Mint Boutiques. And in practice, virtually no banks are taking them. Be careful guys.

That is so weird why would they put that high of denominations on them. Just as like a collectors guaranteed and so they aren't treated as bullion. I guess its kinda smart since they can justify higher prices of the coins over spot.
Are a lot of collectors turning them back in at face value?

They do it to get people into the hobby. A typical $20 face value Mint product is an ounce or silver dollar sized, and costs $109.99+. These coins are $20, and while smaller, deceive new buyers (and many longtime collectors too, as evidenced on this site!) into thinking they have the "protection" of the face value. You do not. The market price of these coins are artificially propped up, and as you can see on secondary sales sites, the demand is responding accordingly. Dealers don't want to buy them, and consumers don't want to either.

Should I tell about another try to deposit / exchange just a few "20 for 20"?
The RBC in Toronto....the tellers and the manager were very nice with me. They didn't know the procedure, and rushed to help me and find out. But when they understood, that I not banking with RBC....no, they sill were helpful and nice but : "Unfortunately we can not do nothing in this case for non-RBC clients".
So......I will keep my $200 Towering Forest - like it very much, but my "100for100" Eagle (nice coin IMO, but I have other eagles) for sale, for you guys only $95 + shipping.

Some collector tried to deposit over $10,000 worth of various $20/20, $50/50, 100/100 and $200/200 coins at the Royal Bank in Vancouver. I am not sure if he had an RBC account to deposit, or he wanted $10,000 in cash in exchange. Anyhow, the bank refused the coins. In my humble opinion, I believe the customer was a non RBC banking client. I've deposited these types of coins without any issues into my RBC account. The bank could be suspicious since it's over $10,000 in cash from proceeds of who knows where...

I will be looking for the $200 for $200 coin and a few others, if anyone is selling at face plus shipping. I'm just waiting to get my tax refund. I filed late and I also need to send it some support documents. So contact me, if willing to sell in mid to late nov. my collection has some holes that need filling.

It took several trips to my bank, and several phone calls to the mint to have my branch accept the 20-4-20 coins. They had to send them to the mint a couple of weeks ago, and still have not heard back. When I purchased them, it sounded like a good investment then because no matter what silver would be trading at, I would at least receive $20 for the coin. I am very disappointed and will not be purchasing them any more. What do you suppose an unsuspecting non-collector would think trying to cash them in if they were given as a gift?

I'm in Hinton Alberta and I don't mind paying shipping for coins I need. I like the $ for $ coins. I'm just waiting for a 3 k refund. I had to send documents showing I've been in Canada since 2010. I hadn't filed for awhile since they owed me. I used an accountant in hopes of not being audited. They told me what they owed me, but wanted documents I hadn't left Canada over time period. So guys let me know of coins you have, prior going to bank. I do prefer they have original packaging. Thanks Rox
