Looks shaky to me. How long do you have to wait after the stackshot moves before the vibrations stop? If you're in Live View, do you see any movement?

No vibrations at all in live view. No visible movement at all.
I have stack shot set to a 1 second delay I have not tried it out with a faster setting since assembling this set up.

The whole set up, with the arca clamps and L plates, behaves as if everything were welded together its much more solid than what I had before.

Edit I did a test stack. Effectively I threw the camera on the bellows, mounted a 4 times microscope objective. reduced the shutter trigger delay to 500ms (I have never been successful with that in the past). 20 shots stacked and this is the result ( with no noticeable movement in the view finder at any stage) the initials are less than .5mm in height.

Note I set the end point too soon so the top left corner of the picture is very soft.

The set up changed again: this time it was because of a really good bargain: I managed to get a Kaiser copy stand for the equivalent of US$80.00. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it for sale( and the price). It was a bit nostalgic taking down the converted Enlarger stand. Modifying that old minolta equipment had taught me a lot. The new stand has been used for a few times and every thing is just smoother. It isn't perfect, it has the Kaiser RA1 Arm( 100mm long) which is just too long for my liking next month, when the budget allows I will replace that camera arm with the RA 101 which is only 45mm long.
