Quote: So if I offered you $18.75 for a $20 bill what would you say? Sorry Don, my answer can't be posted on a family forum... P.S. Great snags!

I have see the 2011 $20 for $20 sell for $40 up to $50. Heck Manitoba seller little Debbie's fun stuff lists them for $110 and has sold a couple in the past. I all depends on how long your willing to run your ad. If your basically a collector just trying to sell a couple extra to pay for the first, it is in the realm of possibility.
I'm not advocating to grab 50 or more and you'll be a millionaire. A couple extra could be a possibility. I realize some people may not want to bother, not a problem. For me it's not a big deal to pack a coin for shipping while watching TV, what else am I going to do during commercials. There's 15 mins of commercials every hr. each person here knows how to collect to meet his needs.

I just cancelled my cable, it's gotten too expensive!! I can watch over computer or my iPhone. Shaw cable has a Netflix type of idea. Just launched Nov. 4, I get 3 months free. Great I'd with laptop & TV. My son has a 32" HD TV hooked up to his desktop. I can't look at the screen more than 15 mins, I get nauseous and a slight headache. It's frustrating I don't know why it happens. A 17" monitor no issues, but a 32" flat screen and I'm ill for half a day. It's very strange. So I just use my iPhone. On ebay a $25 flag is on auction. It's already at $36 with $3 shipping. It has 3 and a half days to go. ebay 381054084213

Hey Pocket change, I haven't had cable for years , I run a 40 inch lcd TV off of my Desktop computer, not sure why your getting nauseous/headaches, might be because your sitting too close, I sit well back in a lazy boy chair with key board on my lap and mouse on arm rest , about 5 ft to 6 ft away. I use netflixs as well but some of the content isn't that hot lol, but the tv series and some of the movies are pretty good. Quote:On ebay a $25 flag is on auction. I wonder how this new 180 day money back garentee will affect coin sales, I mean as the coin drops in value which happens after the first months or so you could just return it and get a cheaper one within 180 days, If I was a seller I would be a bit worried about this new rule, I wouldn't like the chance of ebay taking money out of my account for 180 days if someone returns something etc etc. plus I am sure some people dont treat coins as well as you or I , some most likely take the coin out of the capsule and man handles it, then oh well I dont like this coin anymore and its still within 180 days so it gets returned , hmmmm maybe I am being to much of a pessimist lol.

That's the advantage of presales as 180 days money back starts when you pay, so in this case we have 180-60=120 days after the buyer receives the item.

Northern my thoughts exactly! Hopefully 99% of the folks don't think this way. Another scenario is after 4-5 months buyer becomes broke and decides to return for refund! The UK is already doing this since June. So they're coming up on their 6 month period, just in time for Christmas, time to read UK ebay seller forums! I think you found the reason the 32" screen makes me ill!! It's set up on the kitchen table, and of course I'm sitting 5" away. I can't handle more than 15-20 mins. I tried watching the grey cup last yr on it. After 20 mins I was in bed and taking a gravel tablet. I ended up listening to the game. Now this year I will be smarter. I sporadically get cable when, shaw marketing calls up offering full cable for $20 monthly for 6 months. When promo is done, I cancel and 4-6 months later I usually get another promo call. My teen son rarely watches TV. When the TV is on, it's channels like Nat Geo/History/Discovery and PBS. I can get most of those programs over the net anyway. I am going to try and sit 5' away and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip Northern!! I spoke with a CCF member, who's a full time dealer when I was at the Edm coin show. He really felt it would be minimal disruption, as many credit cards have this time period for chargebacks. I never knew about chargebacks being for such a long period until reading the forums. I've always gone by a stores return policy. @ Arianzo, I'd never even thought of the angle you proposed. It's a very interesting take on Presales and delivery times.

I love the $25 coin! So against my better judgment I placed an order...

I would have ordered multiples if they sold them individually. I suppose I could order the subs and cancel in February but that seems like a hassle. lol
I think the Flag will sell out quicker than the Snowman did.

Only some boxed sets, like "BoC PHS Gold 6-coin set (with PHS 1912 $10)", "Gold Glass Creatures" and the recent silver set have the coins combined. I would say, just wait...

I think this one has the legs to sell out in subscription. Time will tell but I think the design is just that good.

I ordered one subscription rather than the usual three like last year. Once the other designs are revealed and they are available individually, I may order extra but not until then. I can't see the RCM taking 200,000 subscription orders for these coins. My guess is that only a portion of the entire mintage is reserved for this purpose. The idea is to get new collectors buying their NCLT product. Either way I hope the design translates well onto the coin and sells out.
