My pictures are poor. On the 1976 coins the date is not clear, but it is clear they are Bicentennials because of the reverse. Under my SPY glass they are both (D) mints and TYPE 2 ~~~ ~~~ Under my SPY glass the 3rd Ike is a 1971 (D). In the highest regard for the spirit of this contest, I rely don't care one way or the other about the end results. I only wanted to share my LOW BALLs edited by Domain555 for syntax

Everyone ready for some WHEAT CENTS?! I've got possibly the most damaged LWCs ever! Here it is, the 1930(?) LWC:

Domain555 - I've never seen Ikes that worn. I'm thinking they must be veterans of slot machine usage.

Lucky cuss Quote: Domain555 - I've never seen Ikes that worn. I'm thinking they must be veterans of slot machine usage. Maybe, who can say? However, IMHO the last 200,000 miles were piled up in the pants pocket of Levis. These coins are way too SMOOTH. Slots beat-dent-harm-destroy the living day lights out of coins.

Domain555, you do know that you can only post 2 coins, right? You have 3.
Thanks!

Thanks! You are 100% correct. I only wish(ed) to show off my coins. I knowingly forfeited my entry on the 2 coin limit. My joy was only in showing off my LOW BALLs Thanks, Domain555

Quote: Slots beat-dent-harm-destroy the living day lights out of coins Good point, certainly $1 casino tokens turn out that way. But Ikes hardly circulated over the years, the backstory on these three must be atypical. I'd like to ask how you came by the trio.

Here is my two entries, these poor nickles have seen better days. I found them on an old mountain back road in New Mexico.

Entry #2 USA Capped Bust Dime I believe it is the "Large" variation, minted between 1809 and 1828. What do you think?

Ok everyone, here is my 2nd (and final) lowball coin! Today I have for you a 1883 (maybe 2) shield nickle! Picked it up for about $2 :)

Submissions are now CLOSED and voting is now OPEN.
Rules:
1. You vote by writing the username of the member who has your favorite lowball.
2. You can only vote once.
3. You can't vote on your own coins. If everyone voted on their own coins, then there would be no contest.
4. You do not have to mention which coin you think is the best, but you can if you want.
5. Anyone can vote, not just participants.
6. The winner will be determined by the highest number of votes.
7. I will not vote. In the event of a tie, the two (+) members' entries will be reposted (by me) and the CCF membership will vote on their favorite of the 2+ entries. I know this is different from the main rules, but this rules out any personal bias that I have. I felt it was only fair.

I have to say there are a lot of good entries and it was hard for me to decide which one would get my vote. In the end though I have to give it to nickelsearcher and his Peace dollar. It may not be the most worn/damaged coin but it is the most interesting to me. Thanks to everyone who shared their coins and thanks to TypeCoin for hosting this contest.
