I did send the seller a message this morning ... seller did not respond.

So not sure if it had anything to do with it coming down

I also replied to the seller and informed him of the actual mintage of the coin

Good for you guys, and any one else who did. I think we all should - as long as you know enough about the coin in question to point out the errors.

I like Duke's idea. It would be a good way for all of us CCF members to help out the worldwide coin collecting community. Members (like myself) who don't know enough to flat out say something is wrong could post auctions we run across that don't look "right". Those who do know could either verify or discount our suspicions. This would also be an excellent way for us less experienced collectors to learn from the experienced ones.

I am assuming it was a novice mistake and he saw an article about the 5000 2000 P SAC's and missed one tiny detail...it was taken down properly
