Very nice love these! Pepact, that slab renew worked well then I take it? Did it really take scratches out also?

Thanks.

In this case, the Slab-Renew seems to have removed the scratches on the obverse side. The more diffuse lighting in the newer photo may also help to minimize the visibility of scratches on the slab.

In these old photos from July 2011, the low-angle lighting may be accentuating abrasions and scratches on the coin.

1840 Mexico 8 Reales, Zacatecas mint. This coin was made in the period when the federal government had taken over control of the mint from the state of Zacatecas (1836) and before out-sourcing operations to the Manning & Marshall Minting Company (1842).

The 1840's seem to be void for me but the 30's have a few coins.
