1907S peso. From 1907-1912 these are 35mm, 20g of .800 fine silver. The earlier pesos from 1903-1906 were .900 fine and weighed slightly more than a Morgan dollar. At an exchange rate of 1 dollar to 2 pesos, the value of the silver in them quickly exceeded the face value. Most were melted, and the silver used to make these smaller pesos.
