Joined the Army and traveled to various assignments. Vietnam, Kuwait, Iraq Honduras, and Belize Just got into coins to keep up with my Grandson and Great grandchildren and found I love it. . My interest in collecting coins got started when my grandmother passed away and left me a box of coins that my uncle brought back from overseas during his time in the Navy. I was told they are not worth anything but to me they are priceless. After I got married a few years ago I learned that my father-in-law was also into collecting coins so needless to say when he passed away my husband and I were given his coins too. I have narrowed my collection to just US 1 cent pieces, from 1794 to the present (I am missing one from 1793, the initial year of issue).
