It appears to be a genuine rotated die error, on a 1983-S proof half that turned up at a local bank. My crude mirror photo shows the rotation which is about 90Â° in the counter-clockwise (CCW) direction. I just sent it off to ANACS for authentication and I'll post the results when I get it back. ANACS has previously authenticated one other genuine example of this date so they do exist! Report this Post to the Staff

That means no silver in my last 14+ boxes and only 1 silver in my last 26 boxes from this company. But, I have 2 banks near me ordering me some boxes. They are from a different carrier and come in String and Sons rols. So far, I have searched 2 1/2 boxes and found 1 1964 and 7 40%'s. Not amazing, but way better than Garda has been lately.
