Especially since getting a coin of this caliber from a major world mint would mean that price would be at least double the price... About $4 over spot/oz is not that bad of a deal in my opinion. Need to sell things to buy more before they are gone! Lol

This is a beautiful ultra high-relief silver round. It is a great theme too. I hope Provident comes out with other 2oz ultra high-relief silver rounds. This Privateer has much more appeal than the Scottsdale 2oz UHR Lion Stacker http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultra-High-...em5673cb4029I ordered a Privateer with my Zombuck #8 rounds and a 2015 Australian silver Funnel Web Spider coin.

If they are smart they wont produce too many , keep the mintage fairly low, then the demand/value will go up and would set up the next 2 oz High relief round to be very much in demand before it even hits the market.
But I guess it is "just bullion" after all.

Now I have to figure out a way to store it and a way to present it.

Just bought two of these. One for my collection and one to use uncapsuled as a conversation piece/poker card protector. I also purchased two 5oz kistachie ATB coins cause I think they may have some investment potential and threw in a RCM Red Tailed Hawk coin that I've been wanting to push my order over $300 so BGASC would let me get a cash price discount and free shipping. Ugh, lot of money to dump on coins at once for me....I was stressin....

what kind of cap are you going to use? I wasn't aware they had them for this size. Although this IS my first 2oz piece.

Wow very nice! Looks awesome in hand! Mine says it wont ship until the first week of May, but hopefully it will hold out until I gain the funds to buy one or two more! I originally wanted it to be our own family "piece of eight" but don't think I will be able to buy 8 of them. 2 or 3 is the goal! Again awesome coin and can't wait for mine!
