Well, mine arrived Saturday (Fedex Smartpost, I'm glad you exist and pass it off to the USPS so it could go in my mailbox) and I opened it Monday. Magnificent. One day I may have to just make it a goal to have a complete set of US reverse proofs.
Now to get on making the money to do so.

Order comes UPS if order is over $300.00 and yes you have to sign for. Orders under $300.00 come FedEx smart post which are then delivered by USPS and do Not have to be signed for.

Just received my 2 sets. 1 looks great, the other has a indent the size of the point of a pin and it looks like someone blew their nose on the back of his neck. That one is going back!

You didn't say which coins have the issues but just the 2 dimes sold yesterday for $72 and $79...might want to rethink that return

Sorry was thinking faster than I was typing. Both issues were on the RP dime.

The Mint's service agent told me that since there isn't any product available till mid-August, if I returned my damaged set I'd mostly likely be issued a refund. Even if I sent it back as an exchange. Huh.

Quote: if I returned my damaged set I'd mostly likely be issued a refund. Even if I sent it back as an exchange. Huh. Correct. As you stated there is no product left...the mid August part is for already accepted orders on backorder status not exchanges. To fulfill an exchange they would have to cancel someone's already accepted backorder set. The only way to get a replacement for an in demand set is to order another one and return the first for refund (not exchange). That window ended around 130p today Maybe they will leak out some of the returns as they come in ("remind me" button) but you will be just exchanging your return for another person's return

Here is the beauty. Not sure what is going on with the check & front neck. Either it is a reflection or some residue left on the dime messing with the light.

Try opening the capsule and seeing if it's a capsule issue and check reflections..although it does look like the issue described is real

Would microscopic "pin Holes" in the mirrored area of the proof dime affect the grade?

I would say so probably-that looks weird is it not on the capsule?

I think this point, any returns should be sold on ebay for a profit and used to bye a graded 69/70 set if you are unhappy about the quality.
