Be warned, that 7070 can take a while. I have been filling mine since 1993.

Mine's been going for 2-3 years now, it's my only album. I'm down to 3 spots- Seated dollar no motto and 2 commem halves. Here's the trick- use cheapo coins and whatever you have laying around.

It's the longest thread I've ever started.

I'm gaining interest in English Hammered coins, hence my avatar- a silver groat of Edward III (1327-77). I bought one at the PNNA show in similar condition to my avatar picture this year. Mine was struck between 1351 and 1361, right after the Black Death.

I see I am not the only one that has multiple projects going on at once. I have my MS Lincoln album and I am not just getting to all the big boys. I stared this album from a circulated wheat set, so I have a plethora of Wheaties, I just need a new dansco album. I am also working on my type album that I am putting together and every now and then I like to buy a lot of 90% just to get some metal clinging around when I don't have 500-2000k to drop on a coin. Just something as someone said previously,to keep the numismatic juices flowing.

Two fewer holes than me.

That is how I started out. I already had a 20th century type set going in 2x2s. When I got the 7070 those holes were instantly filled.

I agree. It's kind of a weird name- it just refers to the fourpence coin.
