Leave it in the MS-63 SEGS holder, I do not see this coin making it into an MS PCGS or NGC holder.

Under the "How it Works" section of the Crossover page they mention only NGC, ANACS or ICG.

I wanted to follow up on this issue and emailed PCGS customer service. Their representative Stephanie Marine reported the following:

Quote:
For a crossover submission, SEGS would be acceptable. The Crossover is not limited to the three companys listed.

So, PCGS would accept the SEGS-slabbed coin in question as a crossover submission. Big potential upside if it crossed successfully.....

Please let us know what happens if you decide to gamble the submission fee.

Awesome! I will keep you posted if I decide to send in. I'm working up a package of coins to submit to pcgs now, so I might just add this gold piece in with it. Thanks.

I would take the chance to cross over either to PCGS or NGC, it would move quicker in case you do decide to sell. Otherwise; keep it in the SEGS holder for your collection.

Good to know, and thanks for the follow up response.

This is definitely worth submitting for a crossover.

Coming late to this, but great thread, and the coin from a technical standpoint is virtually flawless. Almost too good to be true.
