Ps... One of my goals is to get down to Queenstown some day and bungee jump off the Kawarau Bridge. You have some great country down there!

TOOOOO dam cold down there ---I live in the sunny Bay Of Plenty ---I do admit that the scenery in the South Island is fabulous and have been from the top to bottom in my hay days.

The 1940 is a bit different as explained to me
War years, where metal quality and annealing was crappy at the best of times - partly one reason why it is so hard to find nice red lustrous coins from the war years.
