Hey pete, am I seeing the split serifs of an rpm there?

I will go look at it again. I was focusing on the Woody. It may be tomorrow before I can do that! Thanks for noticing and asking!

I am thinking that this is not an RPM, unless that small spike on the upper left means something other than a small die scratch (?)

Thanks for asking.

The spike is a die scratch. Also, I think it is not an RPM because it looks like MD. There is also evidence of slight MD on the 9s of the date.

Wow pete, I never looked closely with this one but it looks like a long retained lamination that chipped off in a couple places. I'll get some macro pics in a few

It could be...although that crescent shaped spot half way to the Y is not clear to me whether it is a part of the lam or a ding. Maybe a ding on the lam? (Seems like there ought to be some kind of joke in there somewhere!! )

Ya jbuck, it looks like he's in a windy & rainy storm, and that crecent lam burst looks like he's flying a kite (sort of) what else would he be doing

Pete, I thought that at fitst but I believe it is a split in the lam that kinda "bubbled" up. Notice more splits just under & hugging the Y
