And it's from 1938 to 1989.

Quote: There are proofs in the wrong slots too. Like in 1959, instead of a regular coin, they put a proof. Not necessarily, especially if this is a Dansco album. This is because there is no slot for a 1959 proof. Dansco only provides a separate proof hole for a particular date-mint when there was only a proof issued; typically from 1968 to date. However, the Dansco Lincoln Cent albums only have one S-mint slot for each year 1968 to 1974 (when San Francisco made both circulation issue and proof cents). The same for S-mint nickels from 1968 to 1970. So, proofs minted 1964 and before do not have their own holes, as they were struck along with their circulation counterparts in Philadelphia. Given the choice, many people opt to put the nicer proof coins in these holes.

I can't check right now, but it's an old album and the pages are plastic. You just slip the coin in.

I'm excited to see the pictures, no matter how this pans out. It could be a nice mix of dates and coins. Even if it isn't what it's thought to be, at $30 you aren't likely to have lost much (if at all).

Still hoping to see some pictures.
And still confused about the 1938.
I was messaged that the previous owner graded them. In the first post it stated, suspect it is a MS 67 proof.
I am thinking if the previous owner grade it MS 67, the previous owner was thinking the coin is mint state, and not proof PF 67.
Why we need pictures.
