Are SBA's getting harder to find now? I have been contemplating dumping most of mine into circulation, but I might hold off if I can expect $1.10 each like I can for Ikes.

I had a few rolls of BU Prez $, but those were cracked open, searched and dumped when $100 meant the difference between paying my full credit card balance or going into debt.

Star notes were also a focus of mine a few years ago. Again, those were the first to go when money got tight.

I can never find Bicentennial quarters anymore. It's been years since I've gotten one in change. Is it because of the hoarding?

I keep all the 2009 cents in what I term my fun box I don't find many so it's not too much of a space issue or $.. It's coins I accumulate that I don't mind my younger cousins go through and take some out for their collections. All my modern foreign coins get dumped in it too. I figure one day someone will get a huge kick finding it.

I almost never spend coins, I Just bring it home and sort it out. When I am in Canada (couple times a year usually) I might spend some of the coins but they always get well searched before I do...

I have a small dish I keep on my desk next to the computer. When I go through my change at the end of the day I toss any "keepers" in there. When it gets full I sort and put them away. For cents that I have saved I have a couple hundred-tube boxes for US and another box for Canada that I use. For Wheats from 41 and newer I have a tube for each year and separate tubes for certain year's "D" and "S" coins. For 60's and 70's cents I have tubes for each decade and add new ones as they get filled. 80 and 81 have separate tubes, 82 has 4 (Copper and Zinc, "P" and "D"). Eventually when I am bored enough to do the work I will separate the 60's and 70's cents into individual years.

For Canadian cents I have separate tubes for each year and for the zinc/copper/steel varieties when they have more than one for that year.

For US Nickels of the 40's and 50's I have separate tubes for each year/mintmark. I also have tubes for US Bicentennial quarters.

All other "Keepers", including halves that I have saved, any SBA or Ike dollars, pre-40 nickels and cents, Canadian 5C and up as well as foreign coins get put into 2x2's and in binders.

I don't hoard circulating coins, but I do have a fascination with the coin shown in my avatar. I have 4 slabbed, 2 in other type holders, and many more loose
You seem to have your "problem" under control.
