I'm going to go with an XF-40. Weak strike and some wear.

Really like the look of it, though!

XF-40, but the strike looks like a typical weak one.

At first glance I thought vf25 right away, but upon closer inspection I believe this coin to have been weakly struck, therefore getting a higher grade then what the consensus feels is right. I'm going to take a guess at a Au52 and if its not weakly struck then I am at a vf35-xf40 range.
Anyway a lovely piece to have nonetheless and even better is it has a fancy mintmark on the back which adds to its intrigue.
Rest in Peace

What a wide range of guesses! A few of you did get it right. I personally think PCGS got it right taking into consideration the weak New Orleans reverse strike. So here is the answer............

Oh well, I was only off by 20 points. Should learn not to offer opinions on a series I have little experience with.
