Quote:I'm thinking Standing Liberty quarters... Inputs? Sounds good to me -- at least I have a couple of purchased quarters worth posting (unlike the dimes). Of course, most of my SLQs were taken from circulation decades ago and are in poor shape, so they aren't photographed.

@Moe - how about another sort of Type Sets of the 19th and 20th Century? Each day is a Type coin from a respective designation? Its like rolling up a Days Of Half Cents by Type followed with a Days of Cents by Type followed with a Days of Two Cents followed with a Days of Three Cents (Nickel and Silver) and so on so forth through Nickels, Dimes, Twenty Cent, Quarters, Halves and Dollars. You can even go into Gold Dollars/2.5/5/10/20. It would be a coin fest. Coin Fest 2K15.

The last one was about a year and a half ago. It was one of my favorites!! We get to see the best of everyone's collection. I agree it would be a great thread. Maybe next time?

Here is the rundown of suggestions in order of least recent to most: Morgan Dollars (twice) - 02/10/2014 Indian Head cents (twice) - 03/23/2014 US Type (three times) - 05/13/2014 Standing Liberty (three times) - 08/24/2014 Looks like we really need to do a Morgan thread and then an IHC thread before we do SLQ again.

There are numerous 1944 varieties and errors, but I think this DDO-003 by far has the best noticeable spread, easy to distinguish difficult to locate. Check out the link to additional pictures and population recorded so far, which is far below to the 1919 P DDO reported, but it is whats been reported, not the actual number. http://www.varietyvista.com/Mercury...4PDDO003.htmSo many rare coins do not associate with hyper prices, which the terms dealers used the most. Sleepers.
