Every one I run across is either dog-ugly/damaged/ex-jewelry or high enough grade as to be unaffordable to mere mortals. A similar reverse to the famous Madonna thaler of Bavaria, which is one of my favorites, but with FRANCONIAE instead of BAVARIAE. I'll be surprised if he doesn't become a German States coin maven soon with that much nice and delicious inventory! My own little contribution. Prussia - 1756(B) 6 Gröscher (1/4 Thaler) AR 25mm/3.11g. Frederick II of Prussia. A two-year type coin (1755-1756) I find the design much preferable to and more pleasing than the later "scrawny eagle" types used afterwards.
