And now my best 1878. The 1878-CC (F+), but I did pay wholesale price for this one. About $78.

Yeah, I picked that one up about a year ago and gave up. Time to get back at it, Eh? Quote:You have taken over for SuperDave in the World of Morgan dollars with their VAMs. Wow, if that were only possible.

Thanks Cascade, I have a digital microscope that I think is on its way out. Color varies greatly with nothing changed in between. I am still learning to use the image optimizer and am really too cheap to buy something good. I'd like to be able to better use my iphone.

To all the MS posters: I can really appreciate the beauties being posted. It gives me inspiration to always improve my collection and shows the differences between MS-60 to the MS-65 and higher grades. I realize now, how many bag marks a coin can take and still maintain the higher MS numbers. To all the circulated posters: thank you and keep them coming. I feel more akin to circulated collectors and a lot less ashamed of my collection. Anyone who thinks their coins won't be appreciated, dash the thought and put up the pics. This is fun!
