Will be interesting to see how many make it to a second pocket change. I think most people once they are found will set them aside.

Jack pot, the Poppy coins are just starting to show up around here, I have picked up stray now and then. Today I hit every bank in town nobody had any but one CIBC she had one roll got it home opened and 14 colours. Now with what I got from the Mint I'm happy
Now if I could just find some more coloured Flags.

There's no need to worry about the colour version, 6.25 million is a lot of quarters and most will be hoarded.

I am still looking for the coloured version. Although there was a lot in circulation, none have come my way. What are the chances that I will still find some.

Over the last 18 months I have received 2 coloured poppies (with mild circulation wear and discolouration) but not a single coloured flag from pocket change.

However, both can easily be obtained for 6X-8X FV on ebay (shipping included), probably cheaper at your local coin shop.

I personally have not received any coloured poppy or coloured Cdn flag coins in my change but others have. A few of my relatives have been able to give me some. Not sure when they got them. Hopefully there are still some of both floating around as I am still looking for a couple more for my grandkids.
