Made an account just to join this (and the dollar coin) project. :)

I picked up and spent $99 in these coins in the past few weeks. I picked up $100 worth at the bank but am keeping the 2007 and 2012 coins I found for myself.

Best reactions to the half dollar coins:
- I was at a cafe and got something for $3.50. When I gave the half dollar, the cashier looked at it closely and exclaimed "I haven't seen one of THESE in forever!" It brought a huge smile to her face. :)
- At another cafe I spent a half dollar coin, a prez $1 coin, and a $2 bill for something that cost $3.50. This cashier was absolutely ecstatic hahaha. She went around showing the money to everyone else behind the counter.

Those kinds of reactions are why I do this, I love bringing smiles to peoples' faces.
