Got some yesterday for 36.5x face. Mostly Kennedys and Franklins with very little wear.
Nicely done!

I'm selling 90% here on CCF for 33.34 X face and not much interest. There's proof coins with NO wear. Silver is up $3 since I listed. If it keeps going up I'm going to refigure my pricing....

I think the economy is not doing well, while precious metal prices are up. That is a though retail market to sell into.

That is a fair assessment. No matter what TPTB are saying, the real people are struggling.

I'm swapping gold for silver right now, no cash involved. Christmas is too close.

I tried the reverse at a coin show last weekend- silver for gold. They wanted me to accept their silver buy discount but wouldn't honor their gold buy discount for the trade. So, I passed and told them I'd be better off buying gold with cash if they wanted to go that route...

Bump111, that's probably the best way to get the best deal. Sell your silver to the highest buyer, then use the cash to buy the gold.

LCS posted on Facebook that they are only paying 24x for 90% right now, even with silver at $58/ounce. Not sure what their sell price is, but 24x is an absolute joke.

A month ago, they were paying 30x when silver was at $48/ounce and selling at 35x. They claimed at the time that any 90% that came in was turned around and sold out within two hours.

Everyone selling, no one buying, so maybe they do not have the cash to cover the higher price because that would bring out even more sellers.
