   Why, one might reasonably ask, would I post these utterly undistinguished coins below the beautiful examples just displayed? The answer is that this is the only date from the teens for which I secured, in my youth, from circulation, a coin of each mint. I find it somewhat interesting that when I pulled these from the bank rolls, they were the age that a 1967 cent would be today. I guess back then coins really stayed in circulation rather than being dumped in jars, because I don't think you could even find a 1967 with that degree of wear. Edit: sorry for being two days late.
