This colour 2016 big coin series will appeal to that segment of collectors that love colour on their NCLTs...and given the low mintages for each coin...sell outs inevitable despite many protestations that this series lacks relief or too gimmicky...
It can be said that this series is the first time we see full colour on the classic circulation coins...

It's a six coin series, I believe the caribou quarter was the 2nd to be released. The first was the 2016 5 oz Big Coin painted loon. Edit broken link, Google will find it for you. Edited by wildflowerAB

You just can't expect collectors to keep paying over 3000.00 a set, when only a few months later do a cheap colour version of the same coin set.
