Thanks LuckyCuss for bumping this thread - I hadn't noticed it before! Here's my contribution - a square 10 shilling coin issued by Guernsey in 1966 to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the Norman Conquest. I also suspect that The Royal Mint was looking ahead to decimalisation and was wondering if a non-circular cupro-nickel 50p / 10/- coin would be popular?

Sorry the image is a bit cut off. I didn't want to take the coin out of the flip.
