I think he meant pictures with the mirror so that you can see both sides of the coin at the same time. Quote: Not everyone has money readily available to send coins to get graded I'm not picking a side of fake or not, just on the fence until it's graded. With that being said, I think a coin worth thousands of dollars qualifies for immediately sending them in, money ready or not you'll make it back in no-time. Borrow money if you have to. Also I thought some auction companies will take care of the grading for you and just take it out in the end after it's sold?

Thanks for trying. Can you tilt it some so we can see both sides? Yeah I would hide your identity if your holding these coins since they are worth a lot. Can you try taking the pictures holding the coins closer to your chest or something so your face is not seen or closer to your stomach? Yeah these would be worth a lot of $$$. Can you ask family for a quick loan or something to get them graded ASAP? Tell them you have a coin that's worth thousands! I'm sure you probably already thought of that but yeah.
So yeah I don't know much about this but is it good to store such a valuable coin in a 2x2 flip? I'm not really sure I haven't been as lucky as the OP to CRH a coin worth thousands of dollars. I've heard of coins rotating slightly in cases causing the grade to go down. I'm just wondering if anyone can share information. I've never found coins worth so much were I was worried about plastic in 2x2 scratching the surfaces.
Yeah agreed you'd make more than enough back money or not try to get graded ASAP so they don't sit not in a slab for so long to preserve these coins ASAP before more damage comes to them.

greenprint: Even if R1974 does have good proof that they have the 1992 CAM, it still does not ensure that they are not fake (by someone else who released them into circulation) until they come back graded. No use dwelling on it until then.

Can you try again please hold the coin close to your stomach tilt the phone so all we see is your shirt. Yeah in order to preserve these coins get them graded ASAP to avoid further damage. Haha maybe even consider hand delivering them yourself by driving to the company. Seriously I wouldn't want to put those through the mail! I'm serious the amount you would make back would pay for the car trip to the company lol.
And yeah please take another picture!
And yeah your right I didn't think about that they could still be fake coins =(.
Do they weigh the right amount?

Also if they come back graded as not fake coins and CAM. Are you sure you really want to sell it? I'm just wondering on this as well. On an error coin, the more time you hold it... more people might find the coin in circulation and the population count would increase devaluing your coin. But since this is so scarce and very popular and many people look for it, if you hold onto both for a long time chances are not many more would be found!
I'm just wondering why you would want to sell it? Not saying you should or not but just wondering what things to consider in this type of situation, you know? And am just wondering how you came to the conclusion to sell.
I don't know what I would do if had them. I would have to think long and hard. The amount of time to consider everything, I would probably have already hold onto them for about a year if I were to sell them and than just be like hehe no one else has found one and just hang onto them.
Hmmmm... what to do what to do...

They appear to be the same flip and same coin! I think he has them. What do you guys think? I think there same flip and the pictures show it. All the ink in same spot. The staples in the same spot. The extra holes from were he stapled and then removed the staple and restapled. I think they are the same flip and the same coins. I think he has them. Idk if were getting more pictures but I hope so. But based on what he provided they look ok to me.

haha I know it wouldn't be hard to get good pics and this is dragging on a bit. But I looked at those pics and I'm convinced, but it would be nice for better pictures. I studied those pictures a bit and everything looks ok to me. I even saw the star in the same location in the crack in the small crack you can see in between the two flips also in the same location. It would be hard to copy all the right locations and everything to the exact to trick us. I think he has them we just have to wait because they could be faked coins release into circulation to trick people. That's why I asked him to weigh it lol. Really be sure they are real before wasting money sending them in to be graded lol. But I think he has them. Do the pictures look ok to you?
