Keep up the positive mindset pete. Studies have proven it's effectiveness at keeping cancer at bay. Nobody's sure how or why it works yet but in some cases it's been proven as a primary contributing factor of beating it

Quote: My brother-in-law is going through early stages of Prostate Cancer at the young age of 65. I was 66 when my diagnosis came in, 9 years ago. At the time my doctor's statistical studies were predicting that my Stage IV cancer would give me perhaps 3 years to live! That was quite a shock! Three months after my surgery, while it was still rather painful to get around, we got in the RV and traveled 3000 miles over 6 weeks. Every year after that we did the same trip. We called it "our pilgrimage", partly because we knew each year could be our last! Wow! I'm still here and I can't believe we did that - especially the first trip so soon after such major surgery! We just sold the RV last year... Thanks again to everyone for your support. I hope and plan to beat this thing once again!

Time to beat this again, buy a new RV, and start a new pilgrimage.

I'm 47 years old, last June I was diagnosed with Renal cancer, and they removed one kidney. Cancer doctor said I had a 35% chance of being alive within 15 years. Although I'm cancer free, I live with that fear and worry, mostly for my wife and 11 year old daughter. I get CT scans every few months because I am participating in a "trial drug". I might be on the placebo, but it helps to think I'm doing something other than just waiting for "the return". Positivity is HARD and I know your struggle well. You have my well wishes and prayers too. Though I don't know you, there is a commonality in this site and certainly with cancer. Keep your family close and don't let it change your attitude and personality! Which it seems you are doing well with ! Wish you the best bro !
