1885 One Third FarthingHad to tweak the picture some to best show it. I'd like to find some of those smaller Ceylon fractional farthings.

Nice! Can I assume that is in a dime sized 2x2?

No jbuck, it's a cent sized holder. Here's a couple 1998 silver Canadian 5 cent coins in the old fish scale size. These are in dime holders. One has a antique finish and the other cameo proof. I have a cameo silver one 2011 with George V coming soon. I don't think there's a antique one of those.

The new 1/50th oz Krugerrand. This is an image of four of them on a U.S. Lincoln Cent. Be sure to actually hold a cent in your hand while you look at this photo.

Yowza, so each one is only about 5-6 mm diameter. That is tiny! Nice! Drop one in your pocket & you'd never find it again.

Do 4 of them actually fit on a Lincoln as per your image? I thought with the space in the middle, they'd overlap the edges, so that's why I sort of figured out 5-6mm each, even though I did read somewhere else they were 8mm. Anyhow even at 8mm, that's still tiny!

Here are the smallest coins in my collection. Going from left to right, Wheat cent for size reference, 1844 mexico 1/4 real, 1895 Guatemala 1/4 real, gold indian fanam (I think that's what it was called. There is a design of an elephant facing right on it.) and the last one is another gold coin from India. I can't remember any details about it but I bought it from the same dealer I got the fanam from. The fanam is the "world's smallest coin" but supposedly these microscopic coins were made for awhile in India but they never caught on because they were too small. It measures at about 2mm. Now that is tiny!

Quote: Do 4 of them actually fit on a Lincoln as per your image? LOL, do you think I am exaggerating their tininess? Yes, this image is to scale.

keepcalmandcoinon, You got us all beat there for tiny. I think that smallest last coin is a large " Cud" cracked die error!

Quote: LOL, do you think I am exaggerating their tininess? Heck no! I just didn't think there was enough space on a Lincoln for them all to fit. Sorry to have given you the wrong impression of my incorrect thinking. BTW, they're great!
