I love the EGP Radar note. Those are dangerous for currency exchangers who are new in the business. Some crooks give these back to unsuspecting tourists in Egypt and then the customer thinks they have 25 Pounds not 25 Piastres or 25 Cents basically and they expect to get the value for 25 Pounds. And even some people in the country where I live (Europe) try to buy these cheap and then trade them in to young unexperienced Currency Consultants at the cash window and pretend they do not know they are Piastres. Many do this with the Oman Baisa (one-hundred Baisa is one Riyal). If you buy a 100 Baisa note which is worth about $0,25 and think you are buying 100 Omani Riyal you just gave the customer $250 Dollars for a $0.25 Cent note. Germans love to try to pull this trick. It is their specialty.
25 Piastres is worth about $0,01 and 25 Pounds (if the note existed) would be worth $1.00. Good way for someone who is poor to earn 100% interest per note. But if the tourist is dumb enough to be tricked and had, well then they should have done their homework before they set off to visit Egypt. Most people in Egypt are honest people. I travelled their alone for a few days in Cairo. No problems whatsoever. Besides for being detained for taking pictures of a wall that I didn't know belonged to the Parlament House. Lol.

After years of searching I have finally found a racecar/ radar note, it is a UK new plastic £5. It has been folded several times which does lessen its appeal to some, I dont care about that as I am just happy to find one

Nice find! 8 digit radars must be really hard to find.

Over the years, I've only happened upon a couple of fancy serial numbers. Here are a couple: a radar and repeater - I think that they are culled by the dealers who realize they may carry a premium. I did buy a couple of cheap solids and low numbers just to say I have them. Here's a solid.

Picked up a few hyperinflation Zimbabwean notes. Ended up getting a radar out of the deal.
