Saruma, I'm glad you had a good time.

I remember the first time I went. I thought I was looking at acres of Morgan dollars -- all very expensive. It made me a little dizzy, if I recall.

The second year I went, I wanted silver Washington quarters but found that most dealers only had the 1932D - and no others. It was like they would only carry the key dates and proof-like Morgans.

It's still fun -- just to see all those coins......

I was there yesterday. It was the first coin show of any type I've attended. I was completely overwhelmed!
No fooling! Talk about jumping into the deep end the first time in the pool.

Anyway, despite that I had a good time, filled a few 7070 holes and feel much more prepared for future shows.
Excellent!

Yeah I wish I was. Living in Illinois it was nice going to Rosemont the last few years. But I guess it is for the best lol but yeah there were some deals to be had there (silver proof quarter sets were like $15-18 each last year when we went). Have fun to those that are going!

I went today and plan to go again Saturday. They had $100,000 paper notes which was interesting to view. Other than that, a lot of dealers selling pretty much same/similiar coins...
