Dave, I've been buying coins from this same guy for about 25 years. He makes it sound like he's giving me a great deal, but he's still getting a silver dollar premium.

I salute your interest in honestly circulated CC Morgan's ... and fully concur that the history of our Nation's coinage is best told through such examples ... and the stories they could tell.

Refuse to get on my soapbox relative to 'lowball' collecting ... but fully admit that I am such a collector and have posted many times here at the CCF on the joy and challenges of finding honest coins to fit the sets.

Lowball collecting is IMHO not a fad ... simply a method of collecting that pleases many of us but not (yet) fully embraced by the greater collecting community.

If I have ebay bucks and see a cc morgan for $40-50 I'll pick it up. I like having them around for just for being cc's, no matter what condition. I can't resist the idea of getting a cc for a deal.
