1917 French 25-centimes. Coins of this design were introduced in 1914, but became a victim of the War in 1917 when the metal content was changed from pure nickel to cupro-nickel.

Two examples, "the two faces of the coin"

Firstly, as somebody noted, the 1917 Uruguayan coinage, 50 Centesimos and 1 Peso, 12,5 and 25 gms, silver 0.900. A good year for Uruguay!!
