Thanks jbuck & CitationSquirrel, Zaire notes were printed on Giesecke & Devrient paper, the 2nd largest banknote supplier in the world, based in Munich and Leipzig, Germany.
The also supplied the paper for hyperinflation notes back in 1920's Germany, Zimbabwe etc amongst others.

Here's a German hyperinflation notgeld from 1923, 5.000.000.000 Marks. Many companies printed their own money during the hyperinflation period in Germany, and this is from Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft in Stuttgart. Daimler is the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz automobiles. The front of the note has got the Mercedes Star and the back a Mercedes racing car from the early 1920s.

Love the old German examples "Wheatback," "Hawk" & "Hahag"
Nice large sized 100,000 Zaire note "Scots"

This is one of 2 hyperinflation notes I just acquired from Ukraine (a Croatian 100,000 Dinara note) featuring Roger Boscovich (1711-1787).

I would like to thank Dave L for the great info he has provided on Boscovich at http://banknoteden.com/TMFOM/Croatia.html

Generally, I'm not a big fan of high denominations but got sucked into this one due to the appealing 5701075 3 digit radar number. After reading up on Boscovich (a brilliant polymath) I'm even more pleased with this purchase!

By popular demand, this topic has been moved back the "World Paper Money and Banknotes" forum.

The "Post Your..." forum will remain for coins only.

We apologize for any discomfort this may have caused.

Bolivia 1984 50,000 pesos, this note can also be found with an Overprint for '5 Centavos' on the back of the note, after a currency re-evaluation.

A couple of banknotes from Peru's inflationary period in the 1980's.

100,000 intis from 1989 & a 500 intis from 1987, although not a huge zero filled banknote, on the 500 the little guy hiking in The Andes, on the reverse side looks just like Steve Rydell from that Gold Divers Alaska tv show

I posted this in the Replacement Note topic but it belongs in this one as well. Cruised through the pages and didn't see it (although it was mentioned by the OP, who hasn't been around in quite some time).
