There is a lot of activity now on this thread! My last two weeks' usage of $2 bills was $1544 for farmers market change and bill paying. This week I also found 6 bills that were so bad in appearance that I swapped them at the bank, I won't count those as used as I don't see sending them for destruction as use!

My last two weeks' usage of $2 bills was $1332 for farmers market change and bill paying. Farmers Market sales have been poor and I don't know why! Weather has been perfect for the customers and Fourth of July was on Tuesday, so who knows. This week 30 some bills I got had about 20 fold marks like they had been folded by a machine - very weird. Almost all of the currency I hand out is recirculated, not returned to a bank only.
