The 82's are correct by Composition.

I was looking for the "snowman" 8 when looking for Sm dates. I have since noticed that some of the large dates have this too. I didn't know about the placement of the 2 until just recently.

Having looked at it again it looks like my '82-P Small dates are actually Large dates. But the '82D looks like it just might be a small date. Is there something about this coin I am missing?

Is this the '82D Small date?

Thanks...Mont.

MontCollector....try this site....it was most helpful for me.

http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...es/1982.html

The one is the photo would be small date, and then dependent on weight. Hope the weather is good downriver!

If you are in need of any 82's let me know. I have a bunch. I could help you fill out no charge to fellow Montanan.

The coin above weighs 2.5g on my digital scale. Making this one a Zincoln.

Don't have a problem telling copper ones from Zincolns. That's the easy part. Telling difference between Sm and Lg dates used to be hard until I saw a post here on CCF. It was probably a post from coop.

Wildhare, I tried to PM you but I don't think you have private messaging turned on.

I Really got to give a shout out to the generosity of the CCF members. I know we are only talking LMC's here but there is also time taken to look for the coins I needed and money spent on postage. Thank you all!!

This time it was CCF member Wildhare. He took the time to send me the 2 1982-P Sm Dates That I was missing. As a result this book is now Complete with the correct coin in it's proper place.

Here is a close-up of the 1982 section. I hope picture is good enough to see SM vs LG dates. All 82's have been weighed as well.

I will always be upgrading these over time.

As for my next project...I have recently purchased a decent size lot of Canadian coins. I will be working on Canadian Cent and Nickels. Will post picture of them in proper forum later on.

Again let me say thanks for helping me complete this little project.

All of us collectors here in Montana have to wait until the Pony Express brings the coins in. The Philly's take about two years.....
