1938 Nickel  The reverse side has been ground down. it's about 1/2 the thickness of a good nickel  Mom gave this and a few others years ago. I think some one was trying to make a 2 headed nickel. I also got a Wheat penny that has been made into a two headed penny.    Jeff Hall
