Cool notes from Dave L, but they were a day early... today is 1939.

Also with all those beautiful French notes I have just bought a catalogue of French Currency (written in French so that will be interesting - Les Billets de la Banque Francais) and I am thinking of making a type collection of those as soon as I put the finishing touches to my English signature collection.

Pretty sure that they were issuing Reichsmarks in 1937, not Rentenmarks. Might be that 1923 was the issuing date, and 1937 was the date the note could be redeemed for something of value in Berlin.
