I let this one slip by me. Title edited to reflect that we need 1902.

Wait a moment... I thought we were on 1903? No notes of that date have been posted yet.

You are right. DavidUK's post threw me off. This is why we are not supposed to go back! Title changed to 1903 again.

Oh, my bad! Thanks for editing the title. 1903 has to be out there somewhere.

Wait...
I'm not seeing any 1903 posted yet, then why does the title say -we're looking for 1902- ?

I cleared out the stuff that kept confusing me and reset the title 1903.

I really don't have many regional banknotes, I just bought this knowing nothing about its value but merely to move this thread on. If we can't get it swinging again maybe its time to start a fresh one soon.

Hurray! Happy to see this thread active and moving again! Fascinating note, @DavidUK Quote: If we can't get it swinging again maybe its time to start a fresh one soon. Just like the regular HFBCWG, it would be great to start a new edition to welcome in new members from the past three years.

Well it is a new day so here is 1902 from the Dominion of Canada a few days after Dominion Day aka Canada Day. Canada is now 153 years old.

Excellent examples! Topic Title adjusted. Quote: Just like the regular HFBCWG, it would be great to start a new edition to welcome in new members from the past three years. Feel free to start one at any time, just be sure to call it the Second Edition or something similar to keep them separate.

This note is from Ceylon. It is a POW camp issue from 1901. There were a couple of these camps in British Ceylon which held POWs from the Boer War in South Africa. I have included the PMG title to show that it is from 1901. At the end of the war most of the Germany POWs returned to South Africa however a few remained.
