The 1984 Olympics gave us the start of the modern commemorative
dollars.

The first was

The only two years where they did P,D,S Uncirculated coins
and a S mint proof. Which means it takes 8 holes for the
start of a complete commemorative dollar album.

The 1988 Olympic dollar might be the least popular.

For me, I think the 1992 Olympic dollar is a very good
designed coin.

For many collectors the 1996 Olympics is where the mint
really messed up, by issuing to many different commemorative
dollars for the 1995 and 1996 years. There were 12 different
dollars for 1995 and 1996. Many collectors did not want
to purchase that many coins for one year, causing some very
low mintage coins.

Four different 1995 Olympic dollar designed coins.

With Four gold coin designs and four half dollar designs,
proof and uncirculated coins. That totaled 32 coins for
the 1996 Olympics. (1995 and 1996 coins)

I have to wonder, there were no commemorative dollars
for the 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012 or 20016 Olympics.
Is that a admission they made a mistake issuing to many
coins for the 1996 Olympics?

My Dansco three album commemorative dollar set has labeled dates up
to 2012. I need 8 more to complete those three albums.

I would have to count .. in my head that is over 130 coins, proof and UNC.

After I fill the labeled holes I will work on the holes without labels.
