No use to fight whit them I did another 7 bank today and the most I could get is 30 coins.I even sent an email to Desjardins and asked them why I could not get roll of twoonie,and got answer that these wher issue to be giving 5 at the time so for those that are looking to have roll all I can say is good luck.

Mississauga location didn't even have the rolls yet. I left work early to make it there by 6.  Then, the teller told me that I could get these at any bank, until I pointed out that they are the exclusive distributors. So he said, "yeah, we're the exclusive distributors, but you can get these at any bank."  I'll try again next week. The only problem is they have very short hours, and there isn't any close to where I work, so I have to hit this one on the way home, and it's about 30 minutes out of the way as it is. I'm surprise they don't have the roll yet Topher,all the one in Quebec as their 100 rolls,but they only issue 5 at the time no roll available just coins,i got this from the head office of Desjardins Caisse Populaire.

I was surprised, but also disappointed. I guess there is an advantage to being in Quebec for this one.

It look to me that these coins where issue only in quebec,i guess the only one that could answer this question would be the Desjardins Mouvement I will try to find this out tomorow,i will call the head office of Desjardins and will let you all know what is the issue for this coins.When we know the answer this may solve the problem of looking for them,i will also ask the reason why we are not able to get full roll from them also.

I e-mailed the mint asking about the mintage of the toonie and medallion which is being offered on their site for $12.00. The mint rep said no mintage has been announced, that the product will only be available for a few weeks. The e-mail ended with the reccomendation that I make my purchase soon.
Is this rep. just trying to pressure me into buying?

gawdOwns, If you decide to order the coin and medallion from the Mint, would you be up to ordering one for me if we can arrange payment - PayPal or something? RCM has only one dealer here, Downies which is way way down in Melbourne and Sydney from me here in Brisbane and they just don't bother to get all items. I ordered the 2008 Specimen set which they had on their website only to find out they are out and can't get anymore. It is still on website 4 weeks later. Wayne |

I stopped by the Mississauga branch and grabbed 15 tonight. I don't know how many they have but they were prepared to give me a full roll, I just didnt have the cash.

These twoonies wont it any bank at all as it say in the begening of this forum Only one place you can get those and that is at the Desjardins Caisse Populaire,dont count on any other bank to have those they wont get them these where issue only for Desjardins.

Thank you for your efforts in getting the coins. Running around Toronto near rush hour is no party!
The CCF forums have rekindled my interest in collecting, for that I am grateful.
