Downtown Toronto branch just called and gave me the 5 coin limit. I'll try to hit up the Mississauga branch again on Thursday, but that cuts it REAL close to closing time. Why does this have to be so inconvenient to get? Grrrrr!!

I picked up my ration of 5 today. I guess they're afraid of going broke if they let people have more than that!
At least I watched the guy take them from a fresh roll and he only handled the edges. It's a shame that these are being held back like this.

andre, I was just checking, and found out I was on your list, some toime back. I only want one, because of the limitations, that seem to always be a part of the scenario. I sent you an email, just now. I hope I am not too late. I was off line for a few days, installing some mew CCTV equipment given me by the VA, (veterans Administration) for people with low vision problems, and I just got back on yeaterday. How have you been? (Besides running into yourself, trying to get enough coins for all wh have asked) ( Andre, after the coins!) I am also azbrushape@aol.com. Dick

Andre, I'll be hitting up some of the downtown TO branches to see how many I can score. I've also got others on the job for me, so worst case scenario is I just get them 5 at a time. I don't want a ton, but I also don't want to waste hours driving all over just to get a handful of these. I was only going to give them away and/or get a few for trade bait. I'm just grateful that you had more info than the mint was willing to share. I owe a great big thank you.

To all those looking to get a roll of the Quebec 400th I have decided to put the one and only Roll I could get from the bank to auction, most of these coins are now in circulation across Quebec and Ontario I already got a few today while shopping, just thinking that these coins in a roll would of made lots of collectors happy to have them and to think that Desjardins made this stupid rule about 5 coins per client I wont say the rest of my thought, and since I don't want to do anything wrong you can freely bid on it and the best one will get it.And I like to say thank you to all those 1800 peoples and more that came in this forum just for looking or sharing info and discution with others, first time ever that I got something like this working good..
Thank you all.
For those wanting to get one uncirculated coin I still have 8 of them on hand.
Andre

I read on the Canadian Coin Reference Site that some collectors have found this Quebec Twoonie with a die crack on both sides and faint design to Queen's ear and eyebrows.
Anyone here see this?
