Well, here's the best picture I was able to take through the slab, angled to maximize the reflectivity:

Your 1903. But send it to me, so I can double check.

Personally I'd prefer the better date and higher grade...

I'd like to see an alternative pic for the 92 similar to what you supplied for the 03.

The 1892 has been previously dipped, hence....the haze.

Sadly, that's the only pic PCGS has provided for that coin.

From the pictures I certainly prefer your coin. The second picture shows the grade limiting hits to the cheek, but the eye appeal with the beautiful toning does it for me. Very nice.

Wouldn't that have been noted in the grade ("improperly cleaned")?

From the "Tru-Vue" images the 03 looks like the better coin. I suspect in hand the 92 is probably the much better coin. The other images of the 03 show it to be the typical dead flat looking brilliant proof common in the later proof Morgans. The 92 appears to be a frosted proof that is common for those years. It does appear to have a haze in the Tru-Vue" but what does it really look like? We don't really know. But I suspect decent mirrors and some cameo contrast.

You may be right, Conder, but I'm not prepared to spend $5000 to find out...
